We're excited to kick off a new school year with our 2026-27 division theme:

One Division. One Purpose. Every Student.

These six words reflect who we are and what brings us together. Every day, our teachers, staff, students, families, and community work toward the same goal: helping every student succeed.

Here's to a great year ahead!

Much of the work that keeps our district technology running happens behind the scenes. On System Administrator Appreciation Day, we recognize the technology team members who maintain systems, solve problems, and help classrooms stay connected.

Thank you for all you do to support our students, staff, and families! 🖥️🙌

🌍🤖 Global connections through robotics! Today, Blacksburg High School welcomed visitors from Anguilla, including 8th-12th grade students, coaches from the Anguillian Robotics Association, and government officials.

Our MCPS robotics Team 401 and Virginia Tech Engineering Education staff hosted the group to demo our robots, share ideas, and explore new ways to enhance STEAM education both here at home and in Anguilla. Thank you to everyone who made this incredible cross-cultural exchange possible!
